T Many Religious places of worship like
temples, Mosques, Churches, ‘Majars’, Religious Platforms etc. were constructed
on the main roads and public places of Jabalpur City by different religious organizations
/ individual. These places were used for organizing various religious gatherings. During
religious festivals Dushhera, Ramnavmi, Janmashtmi,Shivratri and ID a number of people
used to get collected at these places by the road side. Most of the time this resulted in
chaos which led to disputes. It also created a lot of problems for the general public. No
action earlier could be taken in this regard as these religious places were related to the
emotion of the common man. |
